How do I make my own loops in Apple Garageband?
Im learning to use Apple Garageband – but want to use my own sounds instead of the pre-set ones. I know extra ones are available – but its not the same.
Can someone who uses their own sounds in Garageband pls let me know what format these loops are in and where to save them so I can access them.
Im using iLife 08.

Well, to make your own loops via GarageBand, you can plug in real instruments through the sound port, or you can plug in a MIDI keyboard. The keyboard acts universally, as you can change the instrument (so you can play like a guitar through your keyboard). If you update your version, which you probably did, it should come with more stock loops. Hope this helps.
